So, I’m at Glastonbury with a surprising level of possible phone/internet usage, which means I’m trying something different and doing lots of short posts reviewing the food stands. (Oh and, hey, the music’s good too!)
What: Proper pizzas cooked in a real oven and topped with rocket, tables and rugs to sit on, coffee in real cups and homemade lemonade.
Where: Next to the Greenpeace field, across from the big boat.
How: Excellent. This perennial festival favourite continues to please by offering an inviting, pleasant and sociable space to sit and relax in after hauling backpacks through long queues and putting up tents. The pizzas are the real deal and the toppings seemed particularly good this year.
